🏉 What a Taster Session tonight

Huge turnout tonight with over 30 new players getting stuck into Tag for the first time. The atmosphere was superb from the first whistle — loads of energy, plenty of laughs and a brilliant mix of people giving it a go.

We rounded things off with a social drink in The Corona, which was the perfect way to wrap up the evening and welcome everyone properly into the community.

🏉 Summer social vibes

Yesterday’s trip to the Giffnock Beer Festival was absolutely brilliant. Great weather, great company and a cracking day out with the Tag crew. It’s days like this that really show what our community is all about — people getting together, having fun and enjoying each other’s company off the pitch as much as on it.

🏉 Finals night capped off an incredible summer

Last night was outstanding. Finals night brought our summer leagues to a close in the best possible way — great games, even better vibes, and brilliant to see so many people embracing everything Tag is about.

Summer League Awards:
• Division 1 winners: Porcupines
• Division 2 winners: Southside Taggers
• Player of the Final: Findlay Rae
• Player of the Season: Clare Thompson – Clampers Utd
• Player of the Season: Rory Fraser – Weegie Warriors
• Highest 2pt try percentage: Weegie Warriors
• Spirit of Tag award - Cathie Balmer - Southside Taggers

🏉 Final Free Taster – 31 August at Hutcheson’s

This is your last chance to try Tag Rugby for free before our Autumn League kicks off on 07 September.

🏉 Rain couldn’t stop us

Last night’s league and Taster Session were brilliant. The rain tried its best, but it didn’t dampen our spirits one bit. The atmosphere was class as always, with great energy on every pitch and loads of smiles in the photos.

🏉 Rain won’t stop us

A quick reminder that our Free Taster Session and our league night will be going ahead regardless of the rain. We’ve played through plenty of Glasgow weather this summer and the Tag has always been brilliant.

Grab your boots, bring the energy and come down ready to enjoy it. The pitches will be buzzing either way.

🏉 Summer league still shining

Last night’s solar eclipse didn’t give us much to look at, but the Tag absolutely did. The games were superb from start to finish, great energy across all pitches and some brilliant moments.

Hard to believe we only have two weeks of our summer league left. It has absolutely flown in, and it just keeps getting better every week.
