🥊💙 GLOVES UP FOR PARKINSON’S IS BACK 💙🥊

After a successful pilot, we are delighted to announce that Gloves Up for Parkinson’s is returning this Friday at Southside Boxing Academy and Community Hub 🙌

The pilot showed us just how valuable this session can be, not only for physical activity, but also for confidence, connection and creating a welcoming weekly space for people living with Parkinson’s.

Thanks to support from the National Lottery, we can now continue and develop the project for years to come, building on everything we learned during the pilot and keeping the programme completely free.

I saw something the other day that made me think about the my own boxing coaches in the 90s at Gorbals United boxing club they are both no longer with us old💙 Jimmy Murray was one hard Oldman and before his time to the left
and the right was an absolute role model 💚Gerry McGinlay these 2 men help keep me on the straight in narrow I will be greatlful for this for ever most probably would have been in jail or dead if I never got educated by them in the art of boxing ( we will be honoring them with 💙 Gerry McGinlay best young up and coming boxer award & 💚Jimmy Murray best boxer momoral award at our show this will be every year )🥊💙💚
