What can we say about tonightโ€™s performance? The boys were simply outstanding ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Stepping up to the Advanced League has been a challenge the team has embraced brilliantly, but tonight took it to another level. Playing on a huge 9-a-side pitch with offsides in play for the first time, the boys took everything in their stride.

They played with confidence, determination and showed exactly what this team is all about. Every single player should be proud of the performance they put in tonight โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

And to top it all off, the boys have finished the league undefeated โ€“ an incredible achievement they should all be immensely proud of ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ”ฅ

What a day on Saturday morning for the boys at New Douglas Park ๐Ÿ”ดโšซ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

First game in the Advanced League and against one of the strongest teams around. Playing in a professional stadium for the first time could have been intimidating for some teams, but not this group ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

The first half was a real battle. We created chances, played some good football and probably deserved to be ahead, but went into the break level after Hamilton responded each time we got our noses in front.

The message at half time was simple โ€“ raise the intensity.

And thatโ€™s exactly what happened.

The second half was one of the best 25-minute spells this team has produced. The work rate, aggression, passing and desire were outstanding. Every player stepped up ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Ryan โ€“ came on and brought calmness, organisation and leadership to the team. Always wanted the ball and helped drive the boys on when it mattered most ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿปโค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

Special mentions to Freddie for stepping into goals and making some big saves, Jack and Alfie for standing strong at the back, Zack for covering every blade of grass and JP who never stopped battling all game.

The goal of the day though has to be the fifth. Pass after pass after pass, involving almost the entire team before Lucas finished it off. Pure football. The type of goal that makes coaches smile and parents applaud ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปโšฝ๏ธ

A massive result, but more importantly a massive performance. The boys showed exactly why they belong at this level.

Another win last week for the team ๐Ÿ”ดโšซ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Took us a while to get going and the first half was definitely a battle, but the effort and attitude from the boys never dropped once. They kept working, kept fighting and once we settled into the game the football started to come ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปโšฝ๏ธ

Second half was a completely different level. The passing was sharper, the energy lifted and the boys started playing the type of football we know theyโ€™re capable of ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Once the boys realised the grass wasnโ€™t going to attack them, it turned into a training session at times. Comfortable on the ball, winning tackles everywhere, and passing it about for fun ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

The football the boys played today was brilliant to watch. Calm out from the back, sharp passing, loads of movement, and total control for most of the game ๐Ÿ”ฅ
