Midweek Friendly Victory
A midweek friendly for Sparta ended in a 2-1 victory over FC Dynamo Carluke .
Sparta started brightly but found themselves behind with a scrambled goal, then two minutes later Gary Irwin fed a ball down the line to Ally Campbell who done brilliantly to hit the byline before putting a great cross into the box, where Greg Campbell was on hand to put the ball home and bring us level.
In the second half, Sparta won a corner and Gary Irwinโs delivery was met by a bullet header from Dave Gibson, giving Sparta the lead.
A good midweek run-out for the boys, with plenty of minutes in the legs and another valuable 90 minutes of football under our belts.
