Hey everyone, I wanted to share some free tutorials I created. These are from a larger set of tutorials. I use a few pretty interesting techniques to model a high poly wooden barrel. There's also a further set of video I'll release in the coming weeks covering texturing and then baking to a low poly version for the would-be texture and game artists out there. I've posted the 5 part video tutorial for a fully procedural Bamboo shader in Cycles for Blender. This is just 1 of 14 shaders I created in the Materials section of The Complete 3D Artist. And the materials section was just 1 of several sections covering basic navigation a UI, modeling, lighting, texturing, rendering and compositing. Its part of Project 1, aimed at beginners so its a fairly slow pace, Project 2 (Advanced Modeling) is much faster.
