🚨2XV COACH | PAID ROLE🚨
West of Scotland FC is seeking an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious coach to join our senior rugby programme as 2nd XV Coach.
Based at Burnbrae, Milngavie, West of Scotland FC is one of Scotland’s oldest and most respected rugby clubs. Following promotion from West Regional Reserve League 1, our 2nd XV will compete in Arnold Clark Inner City Reserve League 2 this season.
The Role:
• Support the coaching and development of the senior squad
• Work closely with the Senior Coaching Team led by Trevor Carmichael
• Help develop players progressing between youth rugby, the 2nd XV and the 1st XV
• Lead the 2nd XV on match days
• Contribute to player development, selection and season planning
• Promote a positive, inclusive and ambitious team culture
About You:
• Experience coaching senior men’s rugby is preferred
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a wider coaching and volunteer team
• Scottish Rugby UKCC Level 2 desirable but not essential
• Aspiring and developing coaches are encouraged to apply
