Athlete Focused is a sports consultancy company offering high performance expertise to athletes. We offer training prescription, coaching, mental performance coaching, nutritional support, massage and physiotherapy. Our Services

Training
We offer team and 1-2-1 coaching and programming for a wide range of athletes. This service is bespoke for every client and aimed at supporting all areas of your

physical development. Current teams include Glasgow Rocks Pro Basketball and individual athletes include BBC World Player of the Year Kim Little. Nutrition
This service involves full dietary and body composition analysis, meal planning and ongoing 1-2-1 support. Mental Performance
Our Athlete Focused mental performance coaching is individualised to suit the athletes needs and focused on improving both athletic performance and mental health. Physiotherapy Assessment
Recommended for those visiting for the first time. An initial appointment aimed to assess and diagnose your problem and offer advice for next steps. This may be further physiotherapy treatment or your physio may recommend another appropriate form of follow-up. Initial Assessment will normally take 30 minutes. Physiotherapy Treatment
These follow-up sessions can be booked for either 30 minutes or one-hour dependent on client preference and physio recommendation. Treatment modalities vary depending on the injury but your physiotherapist will discuss all the available options with you. Rehabilitation Session
These sessions are for clients at end stage recovery from an injury. This is a gym-based session and clients can be coached by both a physiotherapist and strength and conditioning coach simultaneously. Injury Prevention Session
These sessions aim to identify current any strength, movement and flexibility deficiencies which may lead to injury. Using this information our strength and conditioning experts will provide you with an individual prehabilitation programme to improve these areas to keep you training injury free. Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is a light, relaxing massage therapy aiming at improving both physical and mental health. Proven to be a great stress reliever, Swedish massage can provide an hours escape from a busy work, home and training schedule. Remedial Massage
Remedial, deep-tissue massage focuses on pain and injury of the soft tissues and aims to promote tissue healing and restoration of normal muscle tissue. This type of massage is also great for maintenance of delayed-onset muscle soreness (“DOMS”) for those who are continuing to train.

Led by Dr Julia Donnelly, Charlotte Dalton-Howells and recent professional Robyn Lewis, with specialist input from Chantelle “Chan” Handy, former Great Britain international and WBBL Head Coach.

Built for her, this three-day programme is designed around the needs of young female athletes, combining skill development, decision-making and confidence.
