Well that's the end of our Glasgow 2026 campaign. What a huge three weeks it's been.
Congratulations to our talented players Shaun Parnis Connie Rixon Rebecca Rixon and Troy Lorimer who have played awesome throughout the games tournament.
These Commonwealth Games were unlike any other, and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent Malta, compete on the world stage, and be part of such a memorable experience.
We thank our players for their grit, determination, and unwavering commitment to performing at their very best. They have made many sacrifices to earn the opportunity to compete on this stage, and their dedication, resilience, and sportsmanship have made us all incredibly proud.
A special thank you to Joe Saragozza for his tireless efforts in helping our players reach the Commonwealth Games. As these are his final Games in this role, we salute Joe for the unwavering dedication, passion, and leadership he has given to our Maltese Falcons over so many years.
His commitment has played a significant part in the success the team has enjoyed since he first took the helm. While he is now stepping back from his role, we are deeply grateful for the strong foundations he has built, which will allow future generations to continue the proud journey of the Maltese Falcons. Thank you, Joe, for everything you have done for the MLBA. Your legacy will continue to inspire those who follow.
We would also like to thank the Maltese Olympic Committee for their ongoing support of our players. Their commitment to helping our athletes pursue excellence in our sport is sincerely appreciated, and their backing has played an important role in making this Commonwealth Games journey possible
