o, Glasgow was founded in 2011 by Prasanna Fernando at Jamaica street, Glasgow city center. In January 2018 it's moved into a full-time Karate Dojo in the center of Glasgow at 54, Washington street. On 24th November 2014, Sensei Fernando passed his 5th Dan test in World So- Kyokushin Honbu Japan under the supervision of Saiko Shihan Kazuyuki Hasegawa and Prasanna Fernando proudly holds the title of Shihan. Now devotes his life to training his students and has been contributing to the spread of Kyokushin Karate as the Head Instructor. Kyokushin Karate Scotland, Glasgow Dojo has been affiliated with Sekai Budo Karate-do Renmei Kyokushin Karate, United Kingdom Honbu. Fighting Seminar with Sensei Gerard Minano, Seishin Kyokushin Organisation, Spain
Date: Sunday, 7th March
Venue: SBKR Dojo, Glasgow

Sensei Gerard Minano (3rd Dan) student of one of the most pioneer Instructor in Europe Shuseki Shihan Pedro Beltran and former Uchi deshi of Tabata Dojo and Hasegawa Dojo in Japan.
He has also won numerous full contact Tournaments in Europe, Latin America and Japan.
We pleased to announce that he will be participating a guest Instructor in the seminar organized for the advancement of our students' kumite.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed to the successful conclusion of our 9th Kyokushin Cup UK Open Karate championship held on Sunday, 6th April in Glasgow. Especially the competitors, branch Instructors, Judgers/Referees and volunteers who supported us in various ways. I also remember and pay my respects to the chief instructors from the Netherlands, Ireland, Poland and England, along with strong fighters from other karate organizations.
This is our contribution to Sosai Oyama’s Kyokushin Karate from
Sekai Budo Karate-do Renmei Kyokushin Karate. Osu!
