The Kart Championship round 2 didn't go as planned this weekend. We showed good pace in Friday practice and managed to qualify P5 in a very strong grid of 27 drivers. The top 15 were separated by 0.5 seconds.
Heat 1 P5 -P5
Heat 2 P5 - P21, was running in P5 but collided with another driver near the the end and spun out facing the wrong way I had to wait to find a gap, pulled a couple of places back.
Started Sunday in the super heats in P8
SH 1 P8 - P9 again caught up and tangled but had a strong finish and picked up some places with others getting tangled.
SH 2 P8 - P12
The final I started P8 but lacked the pace to keep up with the pack, after a first lap incident i was running P14, by keeping out of trouble i made it to P10 but i started to drop back into P12 which is where i finished after a drop down caused on the rolling.
We reset and head to GYG for round 3 in May.
