A brilliant end-to-end game with plenty of action throughout. Unlucky not to come away with the result, but the effort and attitude from everyone was spot on. Some outstanding saves and strong defensive work kept us in it, while the passing and teamwork going forward was excellent.

The lads have been working hard on their passing and movement in training, and it really paid off today. Some brilliant teamwork helped us edge a fantastic win in a very competitive match.

What a performance from the lads on Saturday! 🔥

From the first whistle to the last, the work rate, attitude and togetherness were outstanding. We’ve been working hard on building from the back — starting with the goalkeeper, playing through defence, into midfield and finishing in attack — and on Saturday it really came together.

The opposition made it very tough for us at times and are a real credit to themselves. They tested us properly, and that’s exactly the type of game that helps the boys grow. 👏

The improvement in passing, movement and decision making is clear to see. The confidence on the ball is growing every week and it’s brilliant to watch. ⚽️

What a performance from the lads today! ⚫⚪🔵

Week after week they continue to prove how hard they’re working — and you can really see what this team is becoming. The improvement, the attitude, the togetherness… it’s all there.

Last time we faced Sunderland RCA it ended in a draw and was a proper tough battle.

This time?

The boys stepped up.

Felling Magpies Blue vs Hetton

A brilliant effort from the lads today, showing real character, resilience and determination throughout. It wasn’t an easy game — we had goals disallowed and faced some strong challenges — but the boys never let their heads drop and kept battling for each other.

It was a proper end-to-end match with chances at both ends, and the work rate from everyone was outstanding. What pleased me most was the improvement from the last time we played Hetton. The difference was massive, and it was great to hear the opposition coaches praise how much the team has progressed. That’s a real credit to the lads and the effort they’re putting in week after week.

They should be extremely proud of that performance.
