Buckley Badminton Club

Buckley Badminton Club We have a number of qualified badminton coaches as well as players who have represented Wales at various levels.

Players of all ages and abilities enjoy our friendly badminton club at Buckley Leisure Centre (formerly Buckley Sports Centre) in Flintshire, North Wales (near Mold & Chester). If it’s competitive games you’re seeking, we have teams of various skill levels in a number of local badminton leagues: Flintshire and Wrexham in the North East Wales Leagues; Chester in the Cheshire League. Our members also regularly participate in local, regional and national badminton competitions. So, if you are a decent badminton player and want some good games and great socialising, please get in touch with us as soon as possible! I hope we can welcome you as a new member or visitor at one of our club nights.

Good morning all! The time has now come where Summer Club has ended and we now go into the new Badminton Season! 🎉

This week is a quiet one with Monday having the only day with something on:
Junior club 17:30-19:30
Senior club 19:30-21:30

Please look out for weekly calander for all the updates, which will be posted.

As our new season begins to start, we have a new payments scheme for those wanting to join! At Buckley Badminton Club we have devised three separate payment plans to accommodate everyone (whether you are interested in playing matches or just wanting to come for a club night)!

GOLD 🥇 - Pay a one off fee of £200 for the season. This covers all 32 club nights, club joining fee & all match fees, home or away, you are selected to play in.

SILVER 🥈- Pay a one off fee of £150 for the season. This covers all 32 club nights, club joining fee & ALL matches on a Monday ONLY, home or away, you are selected to play in. Matches that occur on other nights will incur a match fee of £6.

BRONZE 🥉- Pay club joining fee of £20, £6 per club night attended and £6 match fee if selected to play.

For those just wanting to join the club and not pay matches, there is the option to just pay £6 as you go, and the joining fee of £20 x

Good Afternoon Everyone! We have reached that time of the year where it’s summer club! Where has the time gone! Over the next couple of months, we will have our usual two hour slot for you all to play as many games as you want and have some fun! Feel free to tell friends and family (or anyone else you think may be interested) in giving it a try! If you do want to bring someone, or you have seen this post and want to give the club a try, please let us know in advance if possible.
We look forward to seeing all our lovely members again, as well as new faces. And who knows, maybe there might be an end of summer social towards the end of summer club season 👀

Well done for our Buckley Junior A Team for competing in the End of Season Cheshire Finals! They represented Cheshire West playing against Cheshire East in the Division 2 section. Sadly they didn't win their match. But second place in the finals is still a massive achievement! Congratulations! 👏🏻🏸🙌🏆
