🩰 Meet Miss Emily 🩰
I’ve been dancing since I was a tiny little girl, and I fell in love with dance from the very beginning.
Over the years, I trained in lots of different genres, including ballet, tap, modern, jazz and contemporary, alongside singing and drama. I was lucky enough to perform in some amazing theatres across Essex and London, including His Majesty’s Theatre, Sadler’s Wells and The Royal Albert Hall.
I completed exams in ballet, tap and modern, working all the way through to Advanced 2, before being fortunate enough at 16 to receive a full scholarship to Doreen Bird College in Sidcup, Kent. There, I graduated with a National Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre and gained my teaching qualifications in modern and tap.
My professional performing career took me both across the UK and overseas, performing in musical theatre and ballet productions. But throughout my career, I always knew that one day I wanted to pass on my love of dance and help inspire the next generation.
During Covid, I decided to return to my teaching qualifications and completed further training with the ISTD in ballet, tap and modern.
I’m incredibly proud to now teach the work that I grew up learning and loved so much, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than watching my dancers grow in confidence, learn new skills and, most importantly, have fun dancing!
I feel so lucky to be able to share my passion with the next generation of dancers and can’t wait to see where their dancing journey takes them.
