Hi, Hope everyone has had a good start to 2014 and hope you’re on your way to achieving your goals.
Unfortunately it has come to our attention that there needs to be some clarity with regards to the rules of the gym.
Firstly it goes without saying that if you use any equipment please put it back as you found it, if you can lift the weights out you can lift them back again!
The gym is a members only private establishment, this means that the only people training there should be current members who have signed an annual disclaimer. Members may let non-members in to train but are reminded that they are taking full responsibility for them (non-members should also pay non-members rates). Please do not admit non-members into the gym outwith Tuesday and Thursday club nights, if you let anyone in you are taking responsibility for their actions. Anyone wishing to become a new member or renew their membership please go to the gym on a club night (Tuesday or Thursday) or contact myself through the day.
On a side note anyone wishing to become a member who is still only 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent who is willing to sign a disclaimer on their behalf.
Members are also reminded that the Strongman equipment is dangerous and as such should not be used without supervision.
I apologise to majority of members for having to read through all this but I am also fully aware of the frustrations caused but the disruptive minority.
