⚽️ FULL TIME | Orkney Women 2-4 Fort William Women ⚽️

A fantastic away-day performance on Sunday saw Fort William Women move up to third place in the Highlands and Island League with a deserved 4-2 victory over Orkney in Helmsdale.

After Maddison MacMillan opened the scoring early on, Orkney battled back to lead 2-1 before Holli Salmond's leveller just before half-time made it all square at the break.

Fort dominated the second half, with Salmond and MacMillan both completing braces to secure all three points.

The defence stood strong when it mattered most, while the team's superb spirit, teamwork and work rate shone through from first whistle to last. Jenna Byers and Terri Fox also tested the Orkney goalkeeper with efforts on target.
