Tower Ridge never disappoints! Huge thanks to Jess and Pete for trusting me to lead them up one of the UK's classic mountain routes as part of my MCI prep, and for the awesome photos!
A brilliant day of scrambling, route-finding, decision-making, and plenty of opportunities to learn and build experience during my consolidation period. Days like these are exactly why I love being in the mountains.

A brilliant day on Broad Buttress, Buachaille Etive Mòr, with these superstars! Huge thanks to Gemma and Hannah for giving up their time so I could practise my roped scrambling as part of my MCI prep and consolidation. Not even the midges could wipe the smiles off our faces! 🦟😁

Brilliant day on the Aonach Eagach yesterday. The forecast appeared to keep everyone away as we had the whole ridge to ourselves. And apart from a couple of showers it was actually pretty dry. Great to get out with my old mate . Lots of practice moving together, scree surfing (and pints!)
