The kids finished the Road to Vienenburg (and back!!!) in style, completing the final few miles by dribbling footballs up and down Nelson Tower! ⚽️

We’re incredibly proud of the effort, commitment and enthusiasm shown by every one of the kids throughout this challenge. They have all been fantastic from start to finish.

Tomorrow the team that will be representing the club to Vienenburg - will be completing the last few miles of the fantastic challenge - by dribbling from the Soccer 7s Pavilion, all the way up to Nelson’s Tower and back down again.

They will be starting at 10:45 tomorrow morning during the Dev 4s. Please feel free if anyone other players want to join in with the dribble then please come along.

There will be donations buckets if anyone wishes to donate to their trip ⚽️🇩🇪⚽️🇩🇪

The kids (and their parents!) have been working incredibly hard to clock up the miles — so much so that they are now only a couple of hundred miles away from their target distance!

With that in mind, and because we have all been completely overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity, we have collectively decided to DOUBLE the challenge… making it Vienenburg AND BACK — a total of 2,250 miles! 🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Our young athletes (and their poor parents 😂) are going to have to dig deep over the rest of the month to make it happen!
