FOREST ROW TENNIS CLUB 🎾

As part of a new initiative to increase participation in tennis within our local community, we have recently secured funding from Wealden District Council that allows us to offer a free multi-week introduction to tennis for children in the area.The free introduction to tennis will include:
• 6 weeks of one hour long free tennis coaching delivered by LTA Level 3 professional coaches from Ross Tennis Coaching
• all equipment provided (tennis rackets and balls), so children can take part even if they are completely new to the sport.
For those who wish to continue playing tennis, we offer a full year junior membership for just £25.

Once a child has become a member other opportunities will be on offer such as fun junior tournaments and club events.

This initiative is designed to introduce more children to tennis in a fun, supportive and active environment, helping them develop confidence, coordination, teamwork and a lifelong love of sport.

The block of 6 free coaching sessions will be on the following Mondays:
27 April, 11 and 18 May, 1, 8 and 15 June 2026 with a possibility for extension. Mondays
4:30–5:30pm — Reception to Year 2
5:30–6:30pm — Year 3 to Year 8

In addition, the Forest Row Lawn Tennis Club is able to grant up to ten fully funded memberships for school and home schooled children who may not otherwise be able to pay for membership. Our goal is to make tennis accessible, inclusive and enjoyable for all children from Forest Row and immediate surrounding. If you would like further information, please do let me know.
