🔥 WILDFIRE UPDATE – IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR GUESTS
Following the latest update from the New Forest National Park Authority, received around 40 minutes ago, we want to provide an important update for everyone staying with us at Red Shoot Camping Park.
Red Shoot Camping Park remains OPEN and is operating as normal. We are welcoming arrivals as usual, and the park and its immediate surroundings are not currently affected by the wildfire. We have also been advised that there is no current threat to the park or our ability to continue operating normally.
However, due to the exceptionally dry conditions and the current wildfire situation, there is now a FULL BAN ON BBQs at Red Shoot Camping Park.

🚫 NO FIRES
🚫 NO BURNING OF WOOD
🚫 NO OUTDOOR FLAMES
We are following the official advice and guidance from the New Forest National Park Authority and are implementing these measures to help protect our guests, our team and the surrounding New Forest.
This is an important safety measure and will be strictly enforced.
🚗 Getting to Red Shoot
The A338 and Ellingham Drove route to Red Shoot remains open and unaffected by the fire.
Please be aware that there is considerably more traffic on local roads because of the A31 closure, so please allow extra time for your journey and take particular care.
If you are travelling from north of Ringwood, you will not be able to use the A31 while it remains closed. Instead, you will need to pick up the A338 from the Salisbury direction and then follow the brown tourist signs along Ellingham Drove to reach us.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will keep you updated if circumstances change.
The restrictions will remain in place until conditions allow the normal site rules to resume.
