Every year, Folkestone hosts The British Open SAMBO Championships in Hawkinge. This year is no different and the event will take place on October 26th. in The Hawkinge Community Centre.

There will be between 15 and 20 weight categories amongst men, women, youth & Masters and we are looking for local business to sponsor individual groups.

This event, is also the trials for the British team for 2025 and next year we have targeted three events to take teams to: The Dutch Open, The Europeans & The World Championships.
We, nor our athletes receive any funding for such events, so any sponsorship raised, will go towards helping the British team attend such competitions.

Winners of each weight group will receive a trophy engraved with the sponsors name, and the sponsors details will also appear in the competition programme, given out to all attendees, on the day.
