Aldershot Race Report

Not the day we were hoping for at Aldershot today.

Heat 1: I got spun out early on and tried my hardest to catch the pack back up, but there just wasn’t enough time to recover.

Heat 2: I got caught up in an incident and was spun into the wall. Unfortunately, that was the end of the race for me as the back bumper got stuck on the wheel.

The Final: Just as we all pulled out onto the track, the rain started to fall, making the track extremely slippery. I just couldn’t get to grips with the conditions and struggled to get the car working.

Plenty to take away and work on before the next one.

Next meeting: The National at Yarmouth.

What a weekend in Scotland with the Jnr Super Two!

What an experience! My first ever trip north of the border behind the wheel — absolutely loved every minute!

SATURDAY
🔹 Heat 1: Steady start, 6th place
🔹 Heat 2: Had my first ever roll over — oh dear! 😂
(European Championship rescheduled to Sunday due to schedule delays)

SUNDAY
🔹 European Championship: Strong drive to 5th place
🔹 Heat 1: DNF — bent a wishbone beginning of the race
🔹 Heat 2: Fought back hard for 2nd place
🔹 Final: Crossed the line in 4th place

Heat 1 – 4th
Heat 2 – DNF due to the cog braking
Final – 9th

Northampton tonight was a bit of a mixed one!

7th in Heat 1, a DNF in Heat 2 and 9th in the Final.

Still plenty to learn when it comes to driving on the shale, but every meeting is another chance to gain experience and improve. We’ll take the positives, work on what we need to so we can get some better results on the shale.

Ipswich tonight...

Heat 1 ended in a DNF after the chain came off, but we got everything sorted for Heat 2.

I'm absolutely over the moon to say I took my first-ever Super Two heat win, and to top the night off I went on to win the final as well!

With those two wins, I'll now be moving up to a Blue roof, so the challenge is about to get even tougher.
