Q-Sports Academy “SPORTS - CLUB” is a Cross Community members only club situated on Fintona’s Main Street Opposite Mc Atee’s Bar & Restaurant. The club is open 7 days a week from 7pm each evening for all to enjoy, play and learn all games the club has to offer, may it be for fun, pastime or at tournament level. Q-SPORTS ACADEMY FINTONA ------ 14 & UNDER INDIVIDUAL DARTS LEAGUE

Last night seen Q-Sports Academy Fintona 14 and under individual darts league get underway.

The league offers over £250 prize-money which includes a weekly prize to the weekly champion & runner-up followed by Grand-Finals involving all players.

Players progress to knockout stages each week from the round robin group stages to compete for the weekly competition.

Dylan Moncrieff was in fine form to be crowned week 1 weekly champion defeating Harley Doherty in the final with both players playing well throughout the group stages.

FIONN MCASHEA (Tyrone) CROWNED CHAMPION

The newly formed Tyrone Darts Association travelled to Co.Roscommon yesterday Saturday 6th June with junior players to compete in Roscommon Youth Darts Academy junior individual darts tournament.

The tournament was well attended by players from different counties with Tyrone well represented with 11 young players competing which seen ten Tyrone players reaching the last-16 and three reaching the semi-finals which was a brilliant achievement.

The final was a all Tyrone affair with Fionn McAshea (Q-Sports Academy) defeating Niall McCann (Q-Sports Academy) on a 3-0 score-line to be crowned champion collecting €125 and the beautiful cup for his victory with Niall receiving €75 plus cup for his runner-up prize.

Fionn also won the highest checkout of the tournament with a superb 120 checkout which made it a great day for all young up-and-coming Tyrone players.

Tyrone Dart Association will be advertising during the week for junior team trails towards team selection to represent Co.Tyrone at the All Ireland Inter County Team Championships come March 2027.

Tyrone junior team trials is open to all junior players 18 or under who would like to compete against quality players and teams from throughout the 32 counties.

Q-SPORTS ACADEMY JUNIOR 8-BALL POOL COACHING

Some of Q-Sports Academy junior 8-ball club players who attends the weekly Wednesday night coaching with 2-times World Junior 8-Ball Pool Champion Carl Martin.

A 8-ball pool competition took place tonight which seen Sean Maguire return to the baize but it was young JJ McMahon who was crowned weekly champion defeating Sean in the final on a 2-1 score-line.
