🏆 Clubperson of the Year Award 🏆
This award recognises an individual whose dedication, commitment and contribution have made a significant impact on our football club throughout the year.
Many of the most important roles within a football club happen away from the pitch and out of the spotlight. While players and teams take centre stage on matchdays, there are people working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that our players, volunteers and families are always supported and looked after.
This year's recipient embodies everything this award stands for.
Fortunately, they are not often called upon to deal with welfare concerns. However, when situations do arise, they handle them with the utmost professionalism, care and discretion. Their calm approach, sound judgement and commitment to doing the right thing provide reassurance to everyone connected with the club.
They are always available to offer support, guidance and a listening ear, helping to create the positive, inclusive environment that makes our club such a special place to be. Much of their work goes unseen, but its impact is felt throughout the club every single day.
This award recognises not only the occasions when they have stepped forward to deal with difficult situations, but also the countless hours spent helping to create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.
