HEAD OF FEMALE RUGBY VACANCY 🔰

As part of Wallsend RFC’s ambitious growth plans, we are looking to launch a ladies and girls rugby offering.

Our new Head of Female Rugby will work with the Director of Rugby and Chair of Youth to develop a Ladies and Girls section with the aim of having age-related girls’ rugby teams playing competitive rugby by end of 2024 and a competitive ladies team by 2028.

You will:

• Recruit, retain and ensure constant development of the team including players and coaches.

• Build relationships with RFU, CB, Local schools, and universities and other key community stakeholders.

•Create and maintain short-, medium- and long-term plans for the sustainable growth of girls and women’s rugby at Wallsend RFC

🔰 STRATEGY & STRUCTURE 🔰

As the club enters an exciting new phase of development, we would like to take this opportunity to share with you our Strategic Plan 2023 - 2028 and new organisational structure. The strategic plan is ambitious, with realistic targets and the aim to develop the club to the next level.

To support the delivery of the plan, we will be advertising some new volunteer roles over the coming week. Volunteers are lifeblood of the club and each contribution, no matter how small, will help drive the club forward.
