🌱 More Community Support for Tansley Juniors FC

Following on from the exciting news that Slacks Coaches have become club sponsors, we’ve got some more fantastic community support to share!

Former Tansley Juniors player Jake Neville has come to our rescue by arranging for the pitches at Fete Field to be aerated. After such a long, dry summer, the pitches are in need of some TLC to help the grass recover, grow and get back to their best. ⚽🌱

A huge thank you to Wardmans for kindly lending us a slitter, and to Luke Neville for allowing us to borrow a tractor to get the job done. 🚜

The club is incredibly grateful for the fantastic support we continue to receive from local businesses, families, former players and the wider community.

This is what community is all about — people coming together to support our local club and help give our young players the best facilities possible.

Tansley Juniors Pre-Season Tournament 2026 ⚽🏆

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the Tansley Juniors Pre-Season Tournament 2026 such a successful and enjoyable weekend.

Firstly, we would like to thank all of our volunteers who gave up their time to help organise, run and support the tournament. Your hard work and commitment is hugely appreciated, and the weekend simply wouldn’t have been possible without you.

A special thank you to Slacks Travel for their continued support of Tansley Juniors. We are extremely grateful for your support of the club.

We would also like to thank Bentley Brook Brewery for kindly donating beer for the weekend — a very generous contribution and greatly appreciated.

Big thanks to our 2 refs aswell! Some top officiating! Cheers lads!

Finally, thank you to all the teams, players, coaches, parents and supporters who travelled to Tansley and took part. The fantastic football, great atmosphere and beautiful sunshine made it a brilliant weekend for everyone involved.

Big well done to our u10 girls today just missing out getting to the final. Fantastic effort 👏

Absolutely fantastic morning of football for the girls at Priory Celtic Tournament. Really evenly matched teams made for a morning of competitive football with our girls getting through to the semi-finals and only getting knocked out on penalties. Super proud of all our players for all their achievements! Bring on September when we get going in the league 💪

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated prizes, bought raffle tickets, attended our Chairman’s day, volunteered their time, helped set up and pack away, and supported the club throughout the day.
