This year's Ladies v Gentlemen afternoon a couple of weeks ago. The men triumphed again 5:1. Ladies are looking forward to getting their revenge next year. Watch this space. 😁

Congratulations to our ladies triples team who were runners up in the Bournemouth and District WBA triples championship. After winning a very long, hot, and hard-fought semi-final this morning they came a close second in the final this afternoon after the shortest ever lunchbreak 😁. The team are pictured here proudly holding the runners up trophy.

We had a great turnout for our Open Day! The sun shone and lots of people have signed up for our 3 week 'Try Bowls' sessions. If you missed it this time you can always come to the next one on Sunday May 11th. 🙂🙂🙂

What a beautiful day! Some of us started with a coffee at Kings Kiosk - Ferndown, then when the bell rang the green was officially open for the season. The weather stayed perfect for bowling and we had a good turn out of members keen to get back to playing. I predict some aching glutes tomorrow 😁
