Wonderful final day on tour at West Monkton Cricket Club. We were delighted by this lovely ground and its facilities almost as much as we were by our hosts.
Not sure the result would have been any different if half the team weren’t injured, but it was the perfect end to our tour. Followed by their recommendation of dinner at the Bathpool Inn

Winter preparations done on the square. But that’s just a drop in the ocean… hopefully this drainage will stop the outfield from being a lake in spring!
3 days of graft from the team and its willing friends. Thanks all!

The sports community can be absolutely amazing!

Massive thanks from HSCC to the The Steve Bernard Foundation for helping us out with some sight screens.

We are very pleased to have been able to help the wonderful people of the Hospital Services Cricket Club which is based at the Doug Baker Ground, St Leonards.
HSCC comprises of NHS staff from across Dorset & Hampshire and their cricket ground became a bit neglected over the past couple of years due to the staff working exceptionally hard protecting us during the Covid pandemic!
But now, they are working towards raising funds to improve the cricket square and the accompanying facilities, so we have assisted them by purchasing removable sightscreens.
We wish them well for their plans for the future and thank them for their service to us all during the pandemic.
