I just wanted to thank all those students that attended the EWSKA tournament today in Birmingham.
There has been a lot of nerves from students as well as parents on the build up to today.
Considering that today was one of the first tournaments for so many.
Everyone done a fantastic job.
I have not sat down and worked out exactly how many medals we did get.
But what I can say is at this point is not about the medals.
It is just a run out to show the new students that all the hard training does pay off.
On the point of training I would like to thank Aimee Gabriela and Frank for their hard work and dedication over the last year to get the students where they are today.
We are and have always been one of the clubs that people keep an eye on for many good things.
Well done everyone and I look forward to seeing you all when we go back in two weeks.
You have made an old grumpy fat man very happy.

I just wanted to announce student of the year Feltham and Sunbury club 2021 freya Prothero.
Congratulations to you Freya,
You have gone above and beyond and even during Covid you have trained on all the Zoom sessions with all the instructors from the EWSKA and also Matt Broadhead one of England’s most decorated fighters that I have ever had the privilege to train with and he commented on your commitment.
You i’ve trained twice a week under us at feltham and Sunbury.
You are a star pupil and without a doubt a credit to the whole EWSKA karate family.
Well done.
2021 freya Prothero student of the year.👍🏻👊🏻🥋

Freya and Madison have only been doing karate for 3 months.
Today they went squad training in Walsall.
And trained under England coaches.
Both girls have done exceptionally well.
Freya 9 and madison 8 are both entering the first round of the GB open on the 16th of February.
These two are the new faces of the Feltham club.
And it just goes to show what you can do and achieve with a little bit of guidance and dedication.
Well done girls.
