After a win last weekend in the cup against the same opponents, we were unable to take all three points this weekend and instead are sharing one each.

We went a goal down, through a questionable attack that the referee somehow saw no problem with, but this only lasted a very few minutes before we managed to bring it back level through a great bit of footwork and shot from Sam McDermaid which took us level going into the break.

Shortly after halftime, scored from close range, putting us in the lead for the first time in the morning. It didn’t take long though after a bit of pinball in the area which was met by an opposing players foot bringing us back level again.

Charlie Marshall then scored a third for the Home team and his second of the morning from what I’m told was an absolute world class assist from Sam M. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough and we were pegged back again, resulting in a draw

Still unbeaten in 2025, but next week we face title contenders

Another defeat on the road yesterday against

We can sit here and make excuses about referees etc but at the end of the day, we just didn’t take our chances when presented in front of us.

Top scorer out injured and 3 players making their debuts, it’s a step in the right direction for us after a difficult start to the season.

That’s it for Christmas now.. we look to bounce back in the 2nd half of the season!

Age won today!

An unfortunate loss today against a very good, young squad of players in meadowsports.

We conceded very early and before long found ourselves 2-0 down. A lack of players and a number of injuries, but we pushed on forward and didn’t give up, until shortly after we found one back through after a dangerous cross in to the box by that wasn’t dealt with.

2nd half came by and we again saw another meadows goal putting us 3-1 down. The game became a bit hearted and both teams lashed out at challenges that didn’t need to be had. Despite the frustration of conceding again, we remained calm and were awarded a penalty after the meadows keeper swiped out at goal scorer Daryl Milist.

The keeper made the most of the opportunity and saved the penalty but we continued to pile on pressure, scoring yet again through at close range after a nice corner from

We then conceded again last kick of the game. Despite the loss, we did ourselves proud. Playing against a group of 19 year olds when the average age of the squad is at least 40, shows us we have the heart (but maybe not the lungs) 😂

A big 3 points this morning 💥

Being in a similar position to at the beginning of the season, we knew it was important that we came away with the points.

We went ahead early in the game with a lovely chip over the keeper from before being pinned back by an equaliser. A short flurry of goals from Riad and a questionable deflection from from a road shot took us in to half time 3-2 up.

The second half we found ourselves with another goal advantage from another shot in to an open net. We were pegged back with a flurry of chances from Pavil who were eventually awarded a penalty after a but of a referee howler which they put away.

Back to winning ways this week after a convincing 5-1 victory over a good Alton Phoenix side. 🙌

We took the lead early on after Daryl‘s shot was spilled by the keeper and ended up in the back of the net. We continued to put pressure on Alton who dealt with it very well every single time and just before the break we conceded a free kick that Alton took advantage from, taking us level into the break.

The second half started off very even but quickly changed and we continued to punish Alton’s high line, with 2nd half goals from Jamo, Conway, Willis and Matt Davis.

A game week to forget for us.

We had the opportunity for revenge after we believed we deserved more from the previous game a few weeks ago.

Woodham took it to us from the very beginning and went 1-0 up very early. They then scored again and despite our chances we couldn’t make them count.

Riad then found himself sent off for a hand ball on the goal line a few minutes after Woodhams keepers handball out his area which went unpunished.

The Woodham penalty then made it 3-0 before going in to the break with 10 men and 4-0 down.

A few more handball shouts in the penalty area which didn’t go in our favour, but we can’t blame those today. were by far the better team and unfortunately we don’t add any further points to our tally this week.

Back in the cup again next week looking to make it count again!

Not really much to write this week.
Fantastic performance from the boys in the Interdiv cup.

In control for most, if not all of the game and a real enjoyable morning.

Big 3 points on the board! 🎯 🔵🟡

After the disappointment over the last two weeks and believing that we should’ve got something out of both games at the start of the season, we insured we took full advantage today of all three points.

We dug deep and every single player did their job.

A first half header from and a second slotted away from Riad after good vision from took us in to half time 2-1 up.

A second half free kick from with a slight deflection meant we ended the game victorious 3-1 winners.
