App of the Day, Great on Apple Watch - Apple
We live by the ocean, we play in the water, we are paddlers. We want to harness the power of devices you carry around every day to provide services that help make you a better and safer paddler. The brand started in 2014 with Stand-Up Paddleboarder David Walker struggling to find an afforda

ble way to get the data he wanted from his time on the water. Simple tracking for his paddle adventures. Meeting developer Lewis Smith through a friend was the catalyst to get working on the first iterations of our service …

Since then we have worked hard to steadily grow our user-base and improve our product. It is both awesome and humbling to know we are supporting the paddling of users in over 100 countries. We remain a small dynamic team focused on continuing to develop for paddlers, providing more functions and services all while retaining the core idea that made Paddle Logger so useful in the first place, simplicity. We have continuously developed alongside the paddling community for all watermen and women, providing all the functionality you need to record your journeys and track your goals, without intruding on your time on the water - all wrapped up in a beautiful, simple, accessible piece of software.

----

At it's core the app is a tracker designed for use on the water, simply:

- Start the app
- Press the big circle
- Paddle

It is super accessible:

Whether you want to record your first time on the water or you are in training for an event, Paddle Logger is for you. Whatever your craft - SUP, Kayak, Canoe, Prone Paddleboard. You can even use it sailing or swimming! Under the beautiful minimalist exterior lies a highly functional app used by athletes and adventurers all over the world. Paddle Logger has been designed to cater for your logging needs without being overcomplicated or confusing, leaving you more time to concentrate on your time on the water. Features:
- Adjustable delay allowing you to safely stow your device before getting on the water
- Digital Logbook with editable trip notes
- Drop pins to see stats for different legs of your trip
- Trip Map, visually showing how your speed changes across your journey
- Trip Photo Gallery
- Share your journeys with your friends via social media, text or e-mail.

----

(We recommend purchasing a quality waterproof case so you do not end up damaging your phone)

*NB: remember - while we have tried our utmost to allow great battery life with the app running (we have regularly managed 8hrs+ paddle time) continued use of GPS in the background can dramatically decrease battery life, it is best to switch it off post paddle!*

Today, June 8th is World Ocean Day 🐠

At Paddle Logger we’re passionate about conserving the amazing ocean environment we know and love. The water is our playground so it’s only natural for us to want to protect it.

Every year we donate a percentage of our annual revenue (not just profits) to environmental non-profits. We made our last donation just a few weeks ago. 🌎

You can help us too by reporting environmental issues you see while paddling. When you finish paddling, tap the big red button to be redirected to 📱where you can add details and photos of any hazards in the oceans and rivers ⚠️ let’s ensure our waters are better quality for future paddlers 🌊
