Another brilliant day of football for our very own #𝟓 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐚𝐲 & #𝟕 𝐓𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐨, who were back in action today on their school holiday at the Ballon d’Or Coaching Ltd 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞 tournament! 👏🏼⚽️

Both boys put in some fantastic performances throughout the day, getting themselves amongst the goals as well as setting up some absolute crackers for their teammates! ⚽️🔥🎯

There was plenty of great football on show, with Findlay and Tiago showing their technical ability, determination and, most importantly, some brilliant teamwork both on and off the ball! 💪🏼👏🏼

And a special congratulations to 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐚𝐲, whose team were crowned winners! 🏆⭐️🔥

We’re super proud of both boys — another day representing Helix Thistle brilliantly and showing exactly what they can do! 🩷💚🖤⚽️

At Ballon d’Or Coaching, we don't coach players to simply complete exercises. We coach them to think, adapt, make decisions and solve problems.

⚽️📈 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓 📈⚽️ - 𝑯𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒙 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝑭𝑪 🆚 𝑾𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝑼𝒕𝒅

A beautiful sunny morning at home today as we welcomed West Park United Football Club Navy for our next league fixture.

From the first whistle right through to the final one, the boys were absolutely superb. The attitude and intensity were there from minute one, and they produced a fantastic all-round performance.

There was plenty of quality on show, with some excellent attacking football, great movement and passing, brilliant finishing and some really good defensive work too. The boys played with confidence and purpose throughout, and it was a joy to watch them put everything they work so hard on together 👏🏼⚽️

What was particularly pleasing was that the standards never dropped. Even as the game progressed, the lads continued to work hard, compete for every ball and give everything right through to the final whistle. They picked up a great win in the process, but that attitude is something we are really proud of 💪🏼

Credit to West Park, who played with a great attitude and competed throughout. We wish them all the best for the rest of the season.

The boys should be extremely proud of themselves today. It wasn’t just the quality of the football, but the attitude, work rate and togetherness they showed from start to finish! 🙌🏼

It’s official… our Junior Coach 𝐂𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 was presented with his very own coaching kit… there’s no escaping us now!! 😂⚽️

But it’s not just about looking the business — he’s doing an absolutely brilliant job with our boys 👏🏼

What makes it even more impressive is that he’s dedicated to balancing school, his own football and everything else that comes with being a teenager, yet still makes the time to come along and give something back to Helix Thistle 🙌🏼⚽️

We welcomed a strong Syngenta Lions side to our home pitch yesterday for another really tightly contested game of football.

It took the boys a little time to find their rhythm, but once they did, they really grew into the game. We finished the first half strongly and created some good opportunities, before coming out after the break with much more control and intensity. The lads competed brilliantly, winning their duels, picking up second balls, and creating some excellent chances!

Credit to Syngenta, who defended well and took their opportunities when they came. The boys kept pushing right until the final whistle, with some great attacking and defensive play on show, including some top saves from our #1 when called upon! 🧤🔥

Finn is an extremely talented attacking player — and one we already know plenty about! We’ve come up against him before, and some of our boys have even had the chance to play alongside him too. We’ve seen first-hand the quality, skill and attacking threat he brings, so we’re absolutely buzzing that he’s chosen to make the move to Helix and line up WITH us instead of against us! 🙌🏼⚽️
