RTC Warriors We are a friendly training group who specialise in road, trails and cross country running...hence the name RTC. RTC Warriors are not a club. We love PBs!

We are a community of positive people who support and encourage each other. New members are always most welcome and we cater for all abilities at every distance from 5k to marathon and beyond. Whether it is Road, Trail or Country you will find someone in our group who will help you. We offer three sessions a week. Tuesday and Thursday we meet at various locations in the Falkirk area at 6.30pm. On

Saturday’s it is either 8.45 at Callendar House or 9.30 at another local location for a grass or trail session. (We are enthusiastic supporters of Falkirk Parkrun)

Back in June 2025 Tony Pargeter toed the start line of the Spine Challenger North. After 80 miles he stopped and recorded his first DNF.

In his own words The Spine was ‘a beast I couldn’t tame.’

Fast forward to today. 72 hours, 58 minutes and 17 seconds later. Take a ‘gentle’ bow Tony. You tamed the beast!

📢 Sunday Shout-outs 📢

What a weekend! 💙🤍🌟

Kicking it off with the Helix Pond races on Wednesday. In the 3km race, Alison was 1st 🥇 in her age category and 11th overall, Gary was 2nd 🥈 in his age category in the 3km & 1st 🥇 in his age category in the mile. Dougie was 1st 🥇 in his age category and 2nd in his heat by less than 0.5 sec. Scott was 6th overall and Toni ran her second 🥈 fastest mile of all time!! A huge congratulations to these truly incredible athletes with epic sprint time! Blistering speed! 🙌🌟

On Thursday at the Kirkintilloch 10km, Graeme was 8th overall and Stephen was 15th. Graeme ran his fastest 10km of the year!! It was blowing a hoolie so extra kudos for those performances, gentlemen!! Bravo! 🙌🌟

On Friday at the Linlithgow Loch 12hr event, Hazel S, Rosemary, Linda S, Gill, Sara and Ruth all completed at least one loop of the loch in aid of charity. Our Warrior Women, once again, making us so very proud as they support our local causes! You are amazing, well done! Bravo! 🙌🌟

At Falkirk Parkrun this Saturday, Sharon was 1st 🥇 in her age category and Lilias picked another PB 🏅! At University of Stirling, Graeme was 2nd 🥈 finisher and at Drumlanrig Castle, Kenny was also 2nd 🥈 finisher. At Beecraigs Country Parkrun, Ian achieved a course PB whilst a few other familiar faces made it all the way to the Jamaica Pond Parkrun. Anything on in Boston this weekend? 🤔😂 Absolutely tremendous running by all!! Top trotting as Coach D would say! 🙌🌟

At the Dechmont Trail 10km race (one of our Summer Series races), Hazel L, John, Janet, Rosemary, Jackie T, Sara, Ruth, Linda S and Kenny C smashed it on a hilltop course with a good few technical sections to tackle! Awesome running by our incredible RTC Warriors! Always smiling and always impressive! Bravo! 🙌🌟

A huge congratulations to our mother and daughter duo at the Doune Gala Day 6km! Lucy was 1st 🥇 girl and Pauline was 4th lady overall and 2nd 🥈 in her age category! Outstanding running! Bravo, ladies!! 🌟🙌

What a weekend with a wide variety of successes to share with you all!

Kicking off with Parkrun...at the Plean Parkrun day away, Steve was 1st 🥇 finisher and Stephen S was 2nd 🥈 finisher. Alison was 1st 🥇 lady. At Palacerigg, Mark S was 3rd 🥉 finisher and at Falkirk, Sharon was 1st 🥇 in her age category. Outstanding running by these tremendous RTC Warriors! So speedy! Bravo! 🙌🌟

On Saturday, Linda J took on the monster challenge of the Ayrshire Alps, a huge 80 miles in the saddle...and smashed it! A huge congratulations from us, Linda! An incredible ride and amazing perfection! Chapeau! 🚵🏻‍♀️🌟🙌

Showcasing their multidisciplinary talents on Saturday were Thomas, Lorna, Laura, Ruari, Toni, Cat..and in first 🥇 place, Scott B at the Lochore Aquathon. Scott, with an epic performance, blew the competition away!! Incredible achievement! Toni and Laura also aced it, finishing in 3rd 🥉 place and 1st 🥇 respectively, overall for the ladies! BRAVO! 🌟🥇🌟🙌

Our tip-top Ultra ladies headed into the night at the Ayrshire Coast Sunset Ultra. With her fastest 50km of 2026, Jen was quick off the mark🏅! A huge congratulations to Hazel L, Linda S, Sara, Rosemary and Ruth! Over at the Glen Lyon trail race. Kirsty and Jackie T tackled the tricky terrain and elevation. Jackie ran her fastest half marathon of the year! 🏅We continue to be in awe of your inspiration running! Marvellous....and with big smiles every race too! 🌟🙌

Jacqui S ran her fastest 10km of the year🏅 at Roon the Toon 10km today and Kenny ran his fastest 10km of the year 🏅at Blast: Doddie 10km! Absolutely fantastic running by you both!! Top trotting indeed! Bravo! 🌟🙌

Today, Ali Mc and Dean raced at the Mhor 84 10km. Dean achieved his fastest 10km 🏅of the year. Wowsers! Truly tremendous running! That dedication and consistency is paying off!! Well done! 🙌🌟

At the Cowie 10km, Liam flew round the course right into 1st 🥇 place...and it was REALLY quick! Another cracking run with an incredible pace! Congratulations on an awesome win!! Fraser, Malcolm and Monica also picked up some of the fastest times for the year! Bravo!! 🙌🌟

Our friends at Linlithgow Athletics have organised a charity event taking place in Linlithgow on Friday 12 June. Running from 8am to 8pm. You don’t have to run for 12 hours! Organised by Linlithgow Athletics but all welcome.

June TT- Wowser's-what a turn out! New record tonight with over 50 Warriors posting times on our monthly time trial. Many thanks to everyone who came along and especially to those posting their first mile time.

Shout out to timekeepers Doug and Lynne who'd welcome us investing in chip timing!
