V Garnkirk
In the first half the boys werenβt quite their usual selves. Garnkirk started the game well and seemed to be getting the better of us and we struggled to find our rhythm. However, yet again, we showed great character and determination to turn the game around, bring themselves back into it and eventually go on and compete well.
A few words at half-time, reminding them just how good a team they are and what they capable of, and in the second half we started to see glimpses of the football we know they can play.
It was a real game of two halves, and thatβs what makes the result even more pleasing. Good teams can get beaten when they donβt play well, but great teams find a way to comeback even when theyβre not at their best β and thatβs exactly what they did today.
Plenty to improve on, but another important result and another step in the right direction.
