🏁🏆We finally got the Norfolk Cars Mini Clubman a win! That one felt good, although a lot of luck came our way.
This year has been the hardest I’ve worked at my racing, in terms of data and performance analysis, getting to grips with a new car, and also working hard on myself and my fitness – I started jogging and I haven’t been running in 20+ years ffs!
Norfolk Cars Ltd - Mini Specialist have thrown everything at it, given me everything I’ve asked for and we still can’t get the car to work as it should do, consistently, in terms of torque and boost. We’ve been to the dyno many times and had more cups of tea than I can count with - cheers guys! ☕️We’ve done tests after every dyno session and still come up with 2+2=5 🤔
Unfortunately, disappointingly, this is as far as we can go with the Clubbie. I knew it would be a tougher year with the car in terms of handling, I still had high hopes I could pull it off if we had equal engine performance though, but that’s not been the case. Too much is out of our control and I don’t race to make up the numbers.
So where do we go from here? Funds are running low and it’s far from an ideal scenario, but we’re working hard to be out in something for Pembrey in a week’s time! 🤞🙏
