So very beautifully put 🩷

There is a common misconception that becoming a parent means giving up your dreams.

I don't see it that way.

The late nights, the endless school runs, the worries, the celebrations, the cuddles, the milestones, the chaos and the love... they were never obstacles standing in the way of my dreams.

They were the dream.

If one day my children ask me what dreams I sacrificed to raise them, my answer will be simple...

None.

Because watching them grow, guiding them through life and being their safe place has always been one of the greatest privileges of mine.

Every chapter of my life has led me to them, and every achievement means a little more because I get to share it with them.

My teenage son, my beautiful daughter and our baby 🌿🩷

You have always been the dream. 🤍

Not all the boxes are ticked 😬
Not everything went to plan 🥴

But somewhere along the way, I stopped measuring success by what I’d accumulated and started measuring it by who I’ve become 🔥

A mother. A survivor. A woman who trusts herself more than she ever has and one that pours love into everything she does 💪🏻

These are a few of the lessons, reflections and truths I’ve gathered over the years.

Some learned the hard way. All worth learning.

Here’s to 45 🥂✨

💛 Just Because It’s Hard Doesn’t Mean It’s Wrong 💛

May has been my PUSH MONTH

A month of laying the groundwork for the next phase of my business, investing in training, exploring new avenues, and starting new ventures. All incredibly positive but demanding when coupled with an already full schedule 😴

It’s been a real lesson and reminder that  and aren’t always comfortable.

You have to exercise real discernment because it’s easy to resist challenge. The moment we feel uncertainty, fatigue or over extension it’s instinct to recoil.

One is your intuition guiding you, the other is resistance to growth. And often, you only learn the difference through experience.

In these moments I’ve reminded myself of giving birth. Just because something is testing you doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Sometimes the discomfort is confirmation that you are indeed doing it right!

The biggest lesson this month?

Following my own advice is indeed good advice!

✨ Prioritising sleep✨ Nourishing my body well✨ Staying consistent with the gym✨ Creating relaxation rituals✨ Not living too far into the future (not my strong point)

When adversity strikes, I’ve been reminding myself not to spiral. Giving airtime to thoughts like:

“I can’t cope.””I’m going to get ill.””I’m not going to manage.”
..is a waste of precious energy.

Instead, I’m chose to pace myself where I could. Not giving everything 120% and knowing that 80% is more than adequate. Because sustainable growth requires sustainable energy.

As May comes to a close, I’m proud of the foundations being built, even if not all of the results are visible yet.

Sometimes the most important work is happening beneath the surface.

It reminds you what taking care of yourself actually feels like.
And once you feel it… you want more of it.

Start with one and the rest will follow 🤍

Wellbeing is a practice and is a recipe in itself…..food, movement, rest etc etc

DM me “MEALS” if you want the recipes ✨
