Been an exciting week for the comp. Sorted some sponsors ready for action!

Right then……..

£30.00 F&F - November the 27-28 and 29th

As with previous comps it’ll be all day Friday and Saturday and half a day on the Sunday. You do not need to fish the entire 3 days but obviously more bank time the better as long as you have the card and code you could win it on one trip out!

Im currently in talks with a couple places regards to the Sunday “Sign Off” you must attend the Sunday sign off to enter your catches. If you can’t make it then your catches will not count.

I will be creating cards to print off where you will be required to have in photos of fish on the tape. I’ll be creating a WhatsApp group or email where on the Friday morning early hours I’ll send out the code word that must be on all cards to count.

Itll likely be judged by the top 3 anglers which will be combined length of fish (3 or 5 I’ll clarify next week)

Bonus for the biggest singular Bass caught too!

I’ll be talking to a number of brands and shops who have helped on previous comps for prizes so we should have a good prize bundle as well as the Bass Trophy!

I’ll follow this up by the weekend with a more in depth post on the rules etc.

Due to having a couple new faces message
Who haven’t fished any of the previous Bashes so I’ll do a breakdown on the rules (those who’ve fished the other ones no real changes)

- Devon based, shore only and can only be on public accessible venues no craft/kayak etc. no private docs, harbours etc

- Lures only and use of one lure at a time so no tinsel tossers or teasers

- strictly no bait

- Top 3 anglers judged by combined length of 5 biggest bass. Measurements from tip of lips to end of tail which is to be laid naturally not tilted over to gain. Fish must be clearly visible on the tape with ID card in view with weekends code written on.

- prize for largest singular Bass again in length same as above.

- junior prize if any Whipper Snappers want to join in.

- WhatsApp group will be created for weekend talk and for the Code word to be sent 00:01 Friday morning.

- “sign off” location will be Exeter based for the finish at Sunday (around 1pm) location 100% to be agreed in the coming week or so. You need to be back here with catch card/photos for any entries to count.

- it’s a over Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning but you do not have to fish the entire comp. Obviously the more days you fish the better chance you have but if you can only fish a day you are welcome.

“Sponsors and Prizes” will be fully announced as and when so keep ya eyes peeled
