🐝 MIGHTY WASPS 4–5 M**F BOYZ 🐝
Another night of absolute darts drama! 🎯

What a night of close games, old rivalries, big averages, missed doubles, questionable crowd behaviour and enough tension to power the whole of Exmouth! 😂

It all came down to the FINAL GAME with the match sitting at 4–4… but unfortunately the M**f Boyz just about nicked it!

🎯 GAME 1 – Dean the wedding singer Brown vs Jack “Cry Baby” goyne

Our very own Wedding Singer Dean Brown stepped up against jack and put on a proper performance.

Dean managed to hit the right notes when it mattered, taking a 4–3 victory and putting the first point on the board for the Wasps. 🎤🎯

🎯 GAME 2 – Brandon “Camel Stow” vs Chris Gill

Brandon was back facing his old team, so obviously there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever… 😂

He produced some quality darts and came away with a 4–2 win, giving the Wasps another valuable point. 🐪🎯

🎯 GAME 3 – Dan Bevan vs Rhiley Matthews

Another returning player, another old team, another chance to upset someone!

Dan put together some quality scoring but a few missed doubles proved costly, with Rhiley taking the game 4–1.

The scoring was there… the doubles had clearly gone for a pint. 🍺😂

🎯 GAME 4 – VC Shane Bevan vs Cam Crabtree

Our VC Shane took on the import himself, Cam Crabtree, in another seriously close battle.

It went all the way to the wire, but Cam managed to sneak the victory 4–3.

Could have gone either way! 👏

🎯 GAME 5 – Chris Hunt vs Paul Milford

Our new man Chris Hunt was thrown straight into the deep end against the mighty Paul Milford — and yes, you guessed it… another game against an old team!

Tensions were high, the sniping was strong, but unfortunately there wasn’t much Chris could do against an absolutely flying Milford.

Paul finished with a ridiculous 4–1 averaging over 30! 😳👏

Someone check whether he was actually throwing darts or using a laser-guided missile system. 😂

🎯 GAME 6 – Phil Ward vs Owen Bates

Phil took on the master himself, Owen Bates.

Never going to be an easy task, but Phil battled hard and kept going right to the end. Unfortunately, Owen proved too strong and took it 4–1.

Fair play, Phil! 💪

🎯 GAME 7 – Lee Alderman vs James Witt

Lee came flying out of the traps and raced into a 2–0 lead.

James wasn’t having any of it though and pulled it back to 2–2.

Lee then found another gear, took the next two legs and finished off a cracking 4–2 win. 🚂🎯

🎯 GAME 8 – Kieron Peek vs Stu Shipton

Kieron started strongly and grabbed the first two legs, but Stu fought back to make it 2–2.

From there it was back and forth all the way to 3–3.

With the pressure building and a few rather unsavoury contributions from the crowd 🙄😂, Kieron kept his cool, showed some serious composure and finished the job 4–3.

Ice in the veins! 🥶🎯

🔥 FINAL GAME – Sean “The Villain” O’Donnell vs Dave Witt

So there we were…

4–4.

Everything resting on the final game.

Our debutant Sean “The Villain” O’Donnell stepped up against the experienced stalwart Dave Witt.

Sean started slowly and Dave absolutely pounced, hitting some huge scores and finishing with some serious accuracy.

To Sean’s credit, he eventually found his arrows, started piling in the scores and getting himself down to finishes.

But Dave just kept finding the right darts at the right time and eventually took the win.

🎯 Final Score: M**F BOYZ 5–4 MIGHTY WASPS

A frustrating one to lose, but what a performance from the whole team. We took it right down to the final game and gave the M**f Boyz a proper scare!

Plenty of positives, plenty of quality darts and, most importantly, another cracking night with the Wasps! 🐝💛

Well played to the M**f Boyz and thanks for another great night of darts.

COME ON YOU WASPS! 🐝🎯💪

Good morning, Super League Saturday! 🐝🎯

The team are absolutely buzzing to get stuck in today as the mighty Wasps prepare to face the PDC-packed M**f Boyz! 🐝🔥

You’ve got to wonder… are they feeling the pressure? Because when you start drafting in some serious PDC quality to take on the Wasps, it’s beginning to look like someone’s been checking the fixture list and thinking, “Hang on a minute… these Wasps might actually be quite good!” 😂

But fair play to them — if you’re going to take on the mighty Wasps, you may as well bring in the big guns, the reinforcements, the heavy artillery… basically anyone who knows which end of the dart to throw! 🎯🤣

Meanwhile, the Wasps remain calm, cool and confident. No panic. No fancy imports. Just pure Wasps belief, questionable confidence and enough buzzing to power the National Grid. 🐝⚡

So buckle up, boys — it’s Super League Saturday!

M**f Boyz may have the PDC… but the Wasps have the sting! 🐝🎯

Let the battle commence! 🍻🔥

After our first Super League game at our new home venue against the Kings Warriors, we unfortunately came out on the losing side.

But what a performance from the team! 💪🔥 We battled hard from start to finish and took them all the way to the final game of the night.

Plenty of positives to take from the performance, and we’ll be back stronger next time. 👊🎯

Final result: 5-4 to the Kings.
