Hellenic Alliance West Final League Table 2025/26

Our first season ends in a disappointing league position. The talent we have in the squad unfortunately not matched by the attitude and commitment expected at this level of football.

The coaching staff know that this needs to improve if the Reserves are to continue.

On the positive note, we finished 8th, reached a cup quarter final and have had 2 players regularly training with the first team. 😀

UDA Glos Development 5-1 Evesham United Reserves

Not a great end to the season as we were taught a lesson by a superior UDA team who have reached two finals this season and won one already.

They looked quicker, sharper and ready where as our season was summed up by missed chances and silly mistakes.

Not too much to write home about and a shame that towards the end of the season we fell off the pace where by mid season it had looked positive.

Plenty to work on as it was our first year together but will need to improve massively for next year.

Thanks to everyone for the support this year, especially our sponsors Cbg Transport who without them this season wouldn't have happened.

As always in football, we go again!

Unfortunately it wasn't a great end to the season last night as we lost to Development. They have made it to two finals this season and won one already so they're a good team and just proved better on the night.

So begins work for what happens next season, watch this space!

Clanfield (85) Reserves 4-2 Evesham United Reserves

A proper game of two halves again, but this time it goes against us!

We started this game with real intent, energy and purpose. After creating several early chances but wasting them by missing the target, we could have been three up in the first half an hour.

Eventually we took the lead but it only lasted five minutes before the home team equalised direct from a free kick that never was.

However we took the lead again before half time as some great approach play from Bruno Slowinski was finished well by Ollie Wilkes to add to Ryan Harrat's opener. So we went into the break 2-1 up and looking dominant.

But the second half was a different story as we couldn't get into gear and the home team penetrated our defence three times to go 4-2 up. Our small squad struggled with injuries which hindered us.

However we ended up regretting the missed chances from the first half and lost a game we should have won!

A game of two halves and we lose the game. Now those missed chances in the first half prove costly.
