I've been very inactive on here when it comes to calisthenics training recently. Unfortunately I've had an injury most of 2019 and due to a lack of consistent training I never really noticed it until these pictures where taking of my performing normal pull ups after around 6 months of solid work and very little exercise. I've now had the diagnosis of a pinched nerve in my C spine which as you can see here has wreaked havoc in right side of my upper body. This is due to the lack of and wrong signals being passed through the nerves that have been pinched, causing muscle atrophy, functional scoliosis and huge imbalances in musculature strength.

The last 2-3 months have been spent managing symptoms, with physiotherapy, testing neck range if movement and medial nerve stretching.
-
The next 3 months will consist of rehabilitation exercises and light training avoiding anything that will flair up the symptoms again. I will post a lot of this here for anyone that is interested or has experienced similar problems. It would also be great to hear from anyone who has overcome similar injuries or is going through the same.

Hoping that this all goes to plan I can start getting back to my sport, calisthenics in spring/summer this year and with lots of self care will come back stronger than ever!
