💥 A thrilling battle ends in a draw – points shared!

Epping CC 3rd XI put in a gutsy performance in a fiercely contested match against title challengers Frenford CC 4th XI. After winning the toss and choosing to field, Epping’s bowlers were made to work hard on a flat deck.

🔥 Bowling Highlights:

🎯 S Solaman was on fire with a brilliant spell of 4/49 off 16 overs!
💪 R Hossain backed it up beautifully with 3/35 from 12 overs.
✌️ N Kayes chipped in with 2 wickets despite a few expensive overs.
Frenford posted a challenging 233/9 in 50 overs, but Epping’s bowlers ensured it didn’t run away from them.

🏏 Epping’s Response: Brave and Bold!

With 234 needed for victory, our batters showed grit and determination. While wickets fell at regular intervals, valuable contributions came throughout:

💥 M Ritul led the charge with a confident 41 (off 37 balls).

Epping CC 3rd XI win by JUST 1 RUN in an absolute thriller against Old Brentwoods CC 3rd XI at their home ground🫨💪

💣 We stacked up 306 runs with strong team contributions:

-Khizer Khan: 80 (100) – anchored the innings beautifully
-S Ahaduzzaman: 47 (36) – aggressive, quick runs when needed
-Sajjid A B Siddique: 33 (46) – steady at the top
-M Mahafuzur: 32 (48) – valuable middle-order support
-Raza Saleem: 21* (8) – explosive finish to push us past 300

Following the tragic event the occurred at Chalkwell Park yesterday, all of us at Essex Cricket send our thoughts and condolences to the families, friends and communities that are have been effected at this time.
