Unbelievable scenes from the 1s yesterday!

Chased down 98, 9 wickets down, with numbers 10 (.wiggins) and 11 () both batting with broken fingers. Harry having done his keeping wicket in the 3rd over of the game. Harry then batted left-handed and saw off 30 balls (4*), while number 9, , scored a vital 16* at the other end.

To say you could have cut the tension with a knife would be an understatement...

Weekend Fixture Post

A busy weekend of cricket awaits for Enfield Cricket Club, with five fixtures across Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday 20th June, the 1st XI host Bessborough at home, while the 2nd XI travel to Harrow Town. The 3rd XI are also at home against Wycombe House, and the 4th XI take on Preston at home.

Then on Sunday 21st June, the ECC side are back in action at home against Stoke Newington.

Team of the Week!

Another week heavy on the bowling side, but with three sides bowling their opposition out for less than 120, that's probably not surprising!

Special shoutout to 14-year-old, Milo Odwell, who took 3-0 to wrap up the innings for the 4s.

The funeral date has just been set for Tuesday 7th July starting at 1100 at St. Augustine’s church in Hoddesden. Followed by burial at Lavender Hill cemetery. Then wake at Forty Hall.

Our women's team played on Sunday vs. and Southgate Cricket Club in two closely fought contests. Unfortunately, we lost out on both occasions but it's great to have them representing the Club.

They'll go again in a few weeks time, looking for revenge!
