🏆 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

🏏🏏 Massive congratulations to our U13s on a thoroughly deserved league win! 👏

What a season it’s been. Many of these players enjoying their first year of 11-a-side cricket, and the way the whole squad has stepped up — game after game — has been incredible to watch. We’ve fielded a different team most weeks, and that’s exactly what makes this such a true squad effort — every player playing their part, and it showed: every ball, every wicket, every run mattered in a bonus points system that rewarded exactly that kind of effort all season long.

We’re especially proud that this is a mixed squad — girls and boys competing and winning together, breaking down barriers and showing exactly what grassroots cricket is all about. 🙌

So many nail-biters along the way too — games going right down to the last over, chasing totals or defending them, win/lose/draw cricket at its finest.

That’s the stuff that builds character (and a few grey hairs for the coaches! 😅).

A big thank you and congratulations too, to all the other clubs and teams in the league this season — some brilliant, hard-fought contests and quality opposition throughout. Wishing you all the very best for next season. 🤝

Huge credit to our players, coaches, and parents who’ve supported this group all season.

Couldn’t be prouder of this team, and of what they represent for the future of the game.

Last game of the season for our U15s over at the beautiful Wootton CC last night. League runners up in a great season for the team.

There have of course been some fantastic individual performances but what has shone through as the season has progressed, is a great team spirit and the wanting for their team mates to do well 🏏

Thank you as always to those that have supported with scoring/ umpiring and on the bar.

An epic end to the season for the U11 Blues last night who secured a win at home.

The team played well in the field with 7 wickets, including a Fifer for James and an epic catch for Fred who stepped in as Keeper.

At the bat the team all held positive run numbers, 5 players with a SR over 100 with Nate putting an epic 31 on the board (SR of 221!)

It’s impossible to write about these guys as I could wax lyrical about ALL of them. So many of them have honed their skill this season, owing to the overall high level of cricket being played amongst the team. They really are the team that pulls each other up.

We wouldn’t be the team we are without our support crew, the coaches, scorers, parents and grandparents that come and support week in and week out, so thank you!

An update from our U9s Blues this morning:

We’ve had an incredible season and we are so proud of these boys.
Most of our team are moving up to under 11s next year and we wish them all the best, go and smash it!

Boys…you’ve shown up week in, week out, you’ve given it your all, you’ve made an amazing team, you’ve cheered each other on and you’ve picked each other up.

Keep showing up, keep supporting each other and most of all keep having fun. You’ve done yourselves and Endon CC proud 💙💛🏏

Under 11 Golds were absolutely amazing tonight... They bowled well, fielded well and batted superbly and we managed to come away with a 6 run victory... Really well done guys, you were all fantastic 🤩🤩🤩

Our U11s girls won their final match of the season on Wednesday just gone. The growth in these girls has been phenomenal. Many of them have gained their first wickets, first catches, and first 4s this season. Their communication between batting pairs has come on no end and they have grown so much as a team. Shout out to Avs who stepped up and played for the other team and even kept wicket for them, playing with integrity against her team mates.
