I am a Personal Trainer offering online training or home visits in SE London for those who don't want the additional cost of joining a gym or are just not into the gym environment. My services include one on one training sessions as well as programmes designed for you to do yourself at home and nutritional advice for weight management. I am a qualified Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Person

You wouldn't run a marathon without training and the same goes for planning for pregnancy. It puts the body through a lot so being fit and healthy before you get pregnant will stand you in good stead. Livia trained with a PT for a year before she got pregnant and continued to train with me throughout her pregnancy to work on those areas that get compromised as the pregnancy progresses. As you can see she looked fantastic at 7 months.

We all want to look and feel the best we can but as a PT I'm not going to talk about a 'summer body blitz' or about getting a 'bikini body'. I know that whatever I do I am never going to look like a Victoria's Secret Model. Genetics have a role there! If I want to wear a bikini I'll wear a bikini complete with stretch marks and wobbly bits.

So why do I exercise? I exercise for my future 70 year old body. I do resistance training to strengthen muscles and do flexibility work so muscles aren't too tight and to correct muscular imbalance. This will ensure better day to day functionality when going about one's daily activities, be it gardening, carrying shopping keeping up with the kids or grandkids and all the other things we do. This will also greatly reduce the risk of injury from falls, a huge cause of hospitalisation in the older population. I also chuck in a lot of balance training too for this very reason.
