Yesterday, we had a fantastic seminar on Sport and Combat Sambo at Tonbridge Sambo Club!
A special thank you to Brad and Alex for sharing their knowledge, experience and Sambo techniques with us.
And of course, a big thank you to everyone who found the time to join us and made the seminar so productive and enjoyable.

On 1st September, a joint Sambo seminar will take place at Tonbridge Sambo Club, bringing together athletes and coaches from three clubs.
Through our cooperation and friendship, we regularly work together, sharing knowledge and experience, supporting one another, and helping to develop the sport we all love — Sambo.
We are very happy to welcome everyone who would like to join us, learn new techniques, gain valuable experience and continue progressing in Sambo.

Today we had our first additional Sambo training session at our new location!
We were really pleased and pleasantly surprised by the number of new people who found the time to come and train with us. It was especially great to see so many happy faces and such genuine enthusiasm!

Fantastic news for our club! From 28 August, we are opening an additional Sport Sambo training class, for juniors and Seniors, every Friday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at:

168 Blackfen road., Sidcup DA15 8PT.

The sessions will mainly be led by Egis, an excellent athlete and coach. Many years ago, he was a member of the Lithuanian Olympic Judo team. He has also competed successfully in international Sambo tournaments and has many years of coaching experience.

We are very pleased to have Egis leading this new class and look forward to welcoming everyone who would like to join us for the first session on Friday, 28 August, at 7:00 pm.

Today, the British Open Combat Sambo Championship took place in Doncaster.
Our academy was represented by just one athlete — Luke. After a two-year break from training following knee surgery, Luke found the strength and determination to return to competition and represent our academy with pride.
We are incredibly proud of him for stepping back onto the mat and giving his best. Luke managed to win a bronze medal, and we would like to express our huge appreciation and respect to him for his commitment, courage and determination. 🥉
A special thank you also goes to the organisers from Doncaster for hosting and running this excellent event.

Our academy has demonstrated wrestling and striking techniques on numerous occasions; however, we do not reveal them in their entirety. We believe that our techniques, methods and training developments should remain within our own training process. We are constantly focused on developing our athletes’ knowledge and skills, with the ultimate goal of preparing them for competition and of course, achieving victories.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to attend the seminar! Your commitment to learning, improving, and pushing your limits is what makes our team truly special.
On 22 August in Doncaster, three athletes from our club will step onto the mat to represent us in the Combat Sambo competition. Behind every match are countless hours of hard work, discipline, and dedication.
We wish our fighters unwavering confidence, a warrior's spirit, outstanding performances, and well-deserved victories. We are proud of you, we believe in you, and we'll be cheering for every one of you.
