🐴🐴 Horse Trials Qualifiers 🐴🐴

We’re looking to have teams in the area 11 Horse Trials Qualifiers which area being held at Munstead on Saturday 20 June.

Mixed junior and senior teams with heights from 70-100.

If you’re interested in being part of a team please message the page or email [email protected] by Tuesday 2 June as entries close this week.

You’ll need to be a club member and have a competition pass to take part but if you’re not yet a member but interested in taking part in this or future qualifiers please do get in touch as it’s not too late to sign up!!

Day 2 at Arena Eventing Championships

Today we had another team competing at in the Mixed 100cm class and also an individual competing in the Mixed 90cm too!

Our wonderful 100cm team, made up of Helen C, Helen K & Holly, had brilliant rounds placing them in 4th place overall, with Helen K finishing in individual 4th also!

Helen K went on to have an even more successful day in the Mixed 90cm individual section where she finished in 3rd!

What a fabulous load of results👏🏻🌟

Arena Eventing Championships

This weekend we have two teams competing at in the Senior 70cm and Mixed 100cm classes and also an individual competing in the Mixed 90cm!

Today saw our wonderful 70cm team, made up of Lisa, Sara, Suzi & Jo, take on the challenge of a tricky course, see how they got on & what they thought of their brilliant rounds👏🏻⬆️

Our 70cm show jumping team had a good team spirit despite the heat at Bookham qualifiers yesterday.

Great double clears from Jo Browne and Susanna Fitchett who finished 2nd and 4th respectively. Lisa and Sophie completed the team but sadly had a few problems, though it was lovely to see everyone supporting each other and representing the club.

Entries are still open for our showing and dressage show including Sunshine Tour qualifiers on Monday. We can’t wait to see you all there but please see below for an important update regarding Equine Influenza.

‼️As you are no doubt aware there have been a higher than usual number of reported cases of Equine Influenza in recent months. All of our events are run under British Riding Club rules which includes a requirement that all horses and ponies have up to date EI vaccinations (at least the primary and secondary injections) and must not have been vaccinated in the 7 days prior to attending a show.

Everyone should be mindful of good bio security when attending shows but in light of the current outbreak we will be undertaking spot checks on passports/vaccination records at our show on Bank Holiday Monday. Any horse found to be unvaccinated or to have lapsed vaccinations or which has travelled without a passport will need to leave the show ground immediately. Refunds of entries will not be given in these circumstances.

Please do not bring your horse/pony if they have any flu symptoms and please be sensible when interacting with other horses and competitors while at the event.

🕶️ We’re thrilled to announce that we have teamed up with E-Riders to bring you the 2026 BRC Summer Sizzler – an exciting online dressage competition exclusively for all BRC affiliated riding club members!

🐴 With classes for teams, individuals, seniors & juniors this is the perfect opportunity to represent your club and ride your best test - all from the comfort of your home arena!

👀 NEW FOR 2026 👀
Riders now have the opportunity to use the Summer Sizzler as a qualifier for the BRC NAF Five Star National Championships! 1st placed individuals in classes 2 - 6 will be invited to compete in an equivalent test at the Championships, taking place at Lincoln Showground in September. Riders hoping to qualify must have a valid Competition Pass by the close of entryfor the BRC Summer Sizzler.
