A really good team performance today, especially considering it was only our second game of 13-a-side rugby.

The kids showed excellent structure, work-rate and togetherness from start to finish. Harry at scrum half led us around the park superbly. His control of the game was excellent dictating the tempo and keeping everyone connected. He was the steadying influence that allowed the team to play with confidence and clarity.

Overall though it was a real collective effort. Everyone contributed, the shape held up well and the attitude was first-class. Plenty to build on as we continue to adapt to the 13-a-side game.

*Player of the Match* :
_Chace_ , he was outstanding in the centre. He defended with real physicality, made smart decisions with the ball in hand and constantly looked dangerous in attack. His ability to both shut down opposition threats and create opportunities for those around him was a highlight of the afternoon.

*Parents player of the Match:*
_Mason_ , he stepped up to prop and led from the front. He put in a massive shift, carrying hard and setting the physical tone for the pack. His effort in that unfamiliar role set a brilliant example for the rest of the side.

Last Sunday the boys had another glorious Sunday morning at Fort Waudby!

Our lads faced a resilient Lambworth team who kept battling despite picking up a few injuries — huge respect to them for their effort and attitude.

We set out with a clear goal today: support play. And the boys delivered in style. The wingers crossed for 5 tries, the fullbacks added 4, and the whole squad worked hard to stay connected and finish opportunities.A massive shout‑out to Harry, Jacob, Jayden and Oliver for their sportsmanship, stepping in to help Lambworth when they were short.

Proud of the culture these boys are building.

Parents’ Player of the Match – Ashton
He definitely had his Weetabix! Aggressive in defence, forcing turnovers, and a real presence all game.

The Coaches’ Player of the Match – Mason came off the bench full of energy at Prop, then moved to the wing in the second half and kept working — grabbing himself a brace.
