🏁 What a weekend in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 for Rounds 3 & 4 of the at Larkhall! 💨🏎️

📅 Friday was all about learning a brand-new circuit. Having never driven here before and facing a hugely competitive field, we knew it would be a challenging weekend. 💪

🏁 Round 3 – Saturday

Qualifying saw Bradley finish P17 of 26 drivers as he continued to get to grips with the track. 👍

Heat results:
➡️ P18 (including a 5-second penalty)
➡️ P13

This gave Bradley a P16 start for the final.

🚀 A fantastic start to the race saw him make up several positions in the opening laps and show some strong pace. Unfortunately, the engine had other ideas and called it a day early, leaving Bradley to watch the remainder of the final with the 🧡 Orange Army 🧡.

☀️ Round 4 – Sunday

A repaired engine and much better weather meant things were looking much more positive!

➡️ P7

These results secured a P8 start for the final. 👏

After battling hard throughout the race against some very talented drivers, Bradley crossed the line in P12. A great result considering Friday was his very first experience of the circuit and the level of competition on track. 💪🔥

Now it’s time to focus on Rounds 5 & 6 at PFI in August — we can’t wait! 👊🏁

at didn’t disappoint!!!!

P2 baby 🥈

After steady heats finishing 5th, 5th and 4th Bradley lined up P3 for the final but as no-one had managed to get away with the front two all day it was going to be tough.

There was a nasty incident at the start of the final which brought out the red flag (wish a speedy recovery) so the restart was single file.

Bradley drove cool, calm and collected and was looking like he’d finish in P3, however things can change in the blink of an eye.

What a weekend Round 3 at Whilton Mill Kart Circuit.

Round 3 definitely brought the drama this time around.

Saturday started solidly with qualifying and two heats producing P7 and P8 finishes, giving Bradley a P7 start heading into Sunday’s Super Heats.

Super Heat 2 was shaping up to be a mega race setting the fastest lap 🔥, however a last-lap move ended in contact with another driver and a 5-second in race penalty dropped us back to P10 at the flag.

Ayrton Senna once quoted - “If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver”

Then came Super Heat 3… and chaos.

A huge first-lap incident saw Bradley launched over one kart and landing on another (luckily no serious injuries however unfortunately one drivers day ended early).

In true fighting spirit, Bradley jumped out, lifted the kart clear, got back in, and rejoined the race. With Slow Boards deployed, he caught back onto the pack in P25 before producing an unbelievable recovery drive.

Just 5 laps of green-flag racing followed — and Bradley delivered 11 overtakes to cross the line P14.

After a visit to the stewards, no fault was attributed to Bradley for the incident.

That recovery put us P12 on the grid for the Final.

Unfortunately, after just three corners, avoiding another incident forced Bradley onto the grass and dropped him all the way back to P33.

From there, it was all about determination. Head down, elbows out, and another charge through the field followed with multiple overtakes bringing him back to P18 on track.

After penalties were applied, we were classified P15 in an incredibly competitive field — a result we’ll absolutely take after the weekend we had.
