Some of our Eglinton Eagles 2016s had a brilliant day at the Development Mini Tournament in Magee 3G. The young Eagles faced strong opposition from Top of the Hill Celtic, Trojans, and Tristar, showing great teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship in every match.

Their hard work earned them a place in the 3rd Place Final, with a fantastic team performance, the Eagles came away with the win and a trophy !

A great day of football and another memorable experience for all the players, coaches, and families. Well done, Eagles!

The 2018 Eglinton Eagles boys were brilliant today in the D&D. Top goalkeeping, solid defending, and great work from the midfield all over the pitch.

We pressed well, passed the ball neatly, and worked hard from start to finish. A fantastic team effort and a really complete performance from the boys.

Our Under 8 girls showed fantastic determination, teamwork, and resilience at their first ever tournament, organised by The Ryan McBride Foundation.

While most teams had breaks between matches, our girls played their first four group games back-to-back with only short drink breaks. Despite results not going our way, they never stopped competing, supported each other throughout, and represented Eglinton Eagles with real pride.

For many of the girls, this meant playing up a year, which makes their effort and attitude even more impressive. Every match brought valuable experience, and they should all be incredibly proud of their sportsmanship and commitment.
Well done to all the players—we are already looking forward to the next challenge.

D&D Summer Cup Final – U13 Girls vs Toth Celtic

Wet, windy, and right up for it. Our U13 girls gave everything in the D&D Summer Cup Final against TOTH and produced a brilliant end-to-end performance.

It finished goalless at half-time, but the girls hit back superbly after going behind in the second half, finding a deserved equaliser and staying right in the game. TOTH edged back in front late on, but our girls kept pushing right to the final whistle.

No trophy this time, but plenty of pride. A massive effort, loads of character, and a performance to build on. Well done girls. 💙⚽

Weekend recap for our U12 and U13 girls at Eglinton Eagles

A brilliant weekend of football for our U12 and U13 girls at the North West Girls Cup in Mullabuoy.

Our U12 girls were outstanding throughout the group stages, progressing without conceding a goal and earning their place in the Cup Final against a strong Glentoran side. After a hard-fought 0–0 draw and a tense penalty shootout, they narrowly missed out, but they can be extremely proud of their performances across the tournament.

Our U13 girls also had a fantastic weekend, finishing second in their group before going on to win the Plate Final against Limavady. They showed great determination, character and resilience to hold on to their early lead and bring home the trophy, a well-deserved reward for all their hard work.

Well done to all the girls and coaches involved at Eglinton Eagles, a weekend full of effort, teamwork and plenty to be proud of. 💙⚽

Our girls are ready for the D&D Summer Cup Final this Sunday!
What a brilliant journey it’s been so far, and now it all comes down to one last push. The effort, commitment, teamwork, and support around this group has been fantastic, and they deserve every bit of this moment.

Let’s get behind the girls and bring the noise on Sunday — best of luck to everyone involved! We’re proud of you all.
