ABOUT ME: From the Courtroom to the Gym Floor ⚖️🏋️♀️
Meet Sam Røre My name is Samantha, but most people call me Sam. I am in my 40s and live in Edinburgh with my family. I am a Former Solicitor. Mother. Coach.
The Legal Career: For 20 years, I navigated the complexities of legal practice. I know exactly what it’s like to live at the mercy of the urgent request to be the go-to problem solver at work and at home, while your own wellness sits at the very bottom of a never-ending to-do list. I’ve lived the consequences: the back injuries from hours at a desk and the mental toll of juggling professional excellence with motherhood and family commitments.
Sport and Performance: Sport has been my foundation since childhood. From representing Scotland in junior badminton to playing for the University of Edinburgh, I’ve always been driven by performance. But as my legal career and family grew, I realised that staying fit was no longer a hobby, it was a battle of logistics and priorities.
The Turning Point I struggled to find a routine that actually stuck when life got chaotic. The breakthrough came when I found the right coach. He taught me the precision of barbell lifting and kettlebell training, but more importantly, how to build a system that works around a full plate. That partnership transformed my health and my discipline.
The Goal: At the end of 2025, I transitioned from the legal office to the gym floor. Why? To help other time-poor people do what I had to do: prioritise themselves. I’m bringing my experience of structural discipline and consistency to you and will meet you wherever you are on your fitness journey.
