A big turnout at Glentress on Sunday for the mini DH, with over 110 riders taking on grassroots downhill racing.

Seren, Flo, Isobel, Zack, Arran, Robbie and Scott were all out there flying the flag for ERC, some of them taking on DH for the first time!

Inch Park CX is back on Saturday 26 September!

Racing for every youth age group from under 8 to under 16, plus an open TT and female race for the older categories. The under 16 and under 14 races carry ranking points for British Cycling members. There is a women-only coaching session before the women's race for anyone aged 16 and over.

There is also a one lap charity time trial on the same day, with a very special guest, open to juniors and adults, listed separately on BC as the 2026 ERC Inch Park MTB ITT.

Entries close on Sunday 20 September and there are no entries on the days, so please do not leave it to the last week.

Our Race Team is taking applications for 2027.
If your child rides road, track, cyclocross or mountain bike, and was born in 2011, 2012, 2013 or 2014, it's worth a look. The squad trains and races throughout the season, with coached sessions and a proper step up for riders ready for it. Some of our former riders have gone on to race at British National and professional level and beyond.

Riders should be based in Edinburgh or the Lothians, or able to travel regularly for training.

Applications close Monday 31st August, so there's not long left. Link in bio.

Good luck to Corey, Finn, Victoria and Zack, racing at the Lloyds British Gravel National Championships this weekend.

Nice to see riders from road, track, cyclocross and MTB all lining up together for this one. Gravel seems to bring a bit of everything together.

Two days, all disciplines, one brilliant camp. Our Youth Camp at Fife Cycle Park brought together around 30 riders a day and eight coaches, from kids just getting to grips with bike control to our race team regulars.

Saturday was cyclocross and mountain biking, cornering, braking, line choice, dismounts and remounts, with a trip to Lochore Meadows to put it all into practice. The afternoon Commonwealth Cycling Games had mixed-ability teams tackling obstacle courses, track stands, relays and the ever-popular water carriers challenge. No one was eliminated, and everyone contributed points.

Sunday moved onto the road, first-timers learning to balance, brake and ride safely in a group, and more experienced riders working on pace lines and race tactics, all finishing with an individual time trial.
By the end, riders were tired, smiling, and already asking when the next one is.

Congratulations to Sammy, who qualified for the Velosolutions Pump Track World Championship finals at the Dalbeattie qualifier, and is now off to Sweden to compete against the best in the World! 🌎🇸🇪

Not a bad way to spend the summer holidays.

British Championships road race at Scarborough last weekend.

Toria took on the U12 girls race, her first time racing at national level, a big step up and a great experience.

The verdict on Oliver's Mount, the toughest section of the course: "hill of death x100."

Big squad of our MTB riders heading to Chatelherault on Sunday for round three of the Scottish XC Champs. Hopefully the sun stays out for Father's Day and we get a cracking course, courtesy of the team at Clydesdale Colts

A big turnout from ERC Youth riding the Tulliallan circuit on Sunday for Round 3 of the Scottish Youth Circuit series.

Strong riding throughout, with Fergus taking 3rd in Youth E boys, Esmeralda 2nd in Youth D girls, Corey 2nd in Youth D boys and Finn taking the win in Youth C boys.

Well done to everyone who raced.
